April Wishlist
Whaaaat it's April already! Each month, I will tell you what my wish-list is for that month and everything I love at the moment! So lets get to it...
1. Topshop Oversized Toile Print Shirt - £40.00
The second I saw this shirt in my local Topshop, I fell in love and once again Topshop have created another beautiful shirt. The coral print is bang on trend and is just in time for the summery season (well if the British weather improves!!) and as it is over-sized, it would look great paired with high-waist skinny jeans, collar tips and loafers for a casual look.
2. Models Own Scented Fruit Pastel Collection - £5.00
Models Own seem to constantly bring out amazing new nail polish collections and recently I spotted their new, Fruit Pastel Collection which contains 5 pastel coloured nail polishes named; Apple Pie, which is a subtle pale turquoise colour, similar to mint candy apple by Essie(one of my favourite colours at the moment!)which always looks great on nails, Grape Fruit which is a pale lilac with a pink undertone which is a close shade to Barry M's Berry Ice cream, next is Strawberry Tart which is a girly pale pink colour, which would look gorgeous on tanned skin in the summer, Blueberry Muffin is a cornflower blue which, personally I think always looks good on nails in any season! The final colour in this collection is Banana Split which is a very pretty pale yellow colour, which instantly reminds me of summer. I do not own any yellow polishes and cannot wait to add to my ever-growing collection! My favourite from this collection has to be, Apple pie and they are all scented which is a bonus!
3. Real Techniques Stippling Brush - £11.99
Real Techniques was created by, you-tuber and sister of Jim Chapman, Samantha Chapman. On the website it quotes 'Real Techniques brushes combine high-tech materials with innovative design to make creating a pixel-perfect look easier than ever.' and as they have been created by a professional make-up artist, I believe that it will live up to it's expectations. It is on the pricey side for a make-up brush however, after watching many of Samantha's make-up tutorials, I am content with paying the price.
4. Topshop Moto Super High Waist Jeans - £36.00
As a massive fan of Topshop jeans, as they fit like a dream, I immediately wanted to buy these pale denim high waist jeans. I think that they would look amazing in the summer and would look good with a blouse tucked in or a patterned bralet, in the hotter weather. I have not seen these in person so I would like them to be thicker denim rather than the jegging style, so i'll need to investigate!
5. Topshop Cat Face Skater Dress - £28.00
I found this dress floating around twitter and have wanted it ever since I set my eyes on it. The cat face bodice print is so original and something I have never seen before! It would look great with either a blazer, baggy denim jacket or a knitted cardigan, also throughout the winter you could pair it with a thick pair of tights and ankle boots. For £28 it is a great price for a well made Topshop dress and I think this is top of my April wishlist!
6. Millie Mackintosh for Nouveau Lashes in Soho - £8.99
As a huge fan of Made in Chelsea, I was so happy when I found out that Millie Mackintosh was set to bring out her own range of eyelashes! These eyelashes are made with natural hair, to give a more natural and sophisticated look and named after places in London which is really cute! While watching, make-up artist Tanya Burr (watch here) on YouTube I saw her use Millie's eyelashes in Soho and they made her eyelashes look extremely lengthened and volumised without looking fake so I decided to pick those!
7. Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation - £24
I am forever looking for a good foundation that will sit well on my very very dry skin, while not looking cake-y or flake-y! Mac is known for their brilliant make-up and respected by make up artists which made me turn to them, whatever the price. Studio Sculpt states that it is hydrating and is gel based foundation which really attracted me, as they both are great for dry skin! It's a bit on the pricey side, however if it makes me skin look great, I am willing to pay!
8. We Are Handsome Owl Print Swim-suit - around £180, but sold out.
I first saw this on Made in Chelsea's Caggie Dunlop and it looked amazing on her so went on a hunt to find where it was from! The website wearehandsome.com sells beautiful designer swim-wear with hundreds of different prints on including many animals and scenes, however they are all at a high price so I don't think I will ever have my hands on one of the amazing We Are Handsome swim pieces and unfortunately this Owl Print swim suit is sold out everywhere! If you were lucky enough to get your hands on it while it was in stock, you could be inspired by Caggie and pull a pair of denim shorts over the top and it instantly looks like a cool vest!
What's on your wishlist this month? Do you like any of my choices or have you got any of them?
Hope you enjoyed!
lots of love, Tilda xxxx
